With such a high volume of insurance claims filed by construction sites for out-of-hours water damage, you’d be forgiven for thinking that a silver bullet solution ceases to exist.

But with the ability to manage supply around hours of operation, and therefore eliminate the risk of costly damage, Waterguard’s intuitive SiteGuard system does, in fact, offer an alternative – and not just any alternative, either.

Designed with Contractors’ All Risks (CAR) in mind, and compliant with Restriction of Hazardous Substance (RoHS), the Construction Insurance Risk Engineers Group (CIREG), the Water Regulations Approval Scheme (WRAS), and UK Conformity Assessed (UKCA) criteria, the SiteGuard offers industry-approved quality and assurance.

While this leak detection technology is designed primarily for temporary supply on construction sites, it can also be used in buildings which need to isolate the water supply at pre-set times determined by the user.

Easily programmable to the property’s individual, day-to-day working hours, with a daily timer for precise programming, Waterguard SiteGuard automatically shuts off the temporary water supply during times of inoccupancy. Then, when activity continues upon re-opening, the flow is intuitively reinstated.

Operational features and benefits include:

  • Available for pipe sizes up to 150mm
  • Manual bypass (up to 54mm) to reinstate the water without touching the controls
  • Available with 12V or 240V power
  • Compatible with the Waterguard DataCom for offsite SMS notifications

The control panel is then linked to up to two automatic shut off valves – where an unlimited number can be connected with the use of additional valve drivers. And our individual data sheets delve deeper into compatible plumbing components.
